Aqui la comparto, como un buen augurio:
Welcome to the Rain
At the end of October, the rain starts a-falling,
And we start a-wondering just how to stay outside.
Cuz we don't wanna hide, from the clouds and from the water.
So we say hello to the rain.
The rain carries our prayers to the river.
And washes our sorrows away.
The rain says remember, blue skies don't last forever,
so say hello to today.
Welcome to the rain.
I was sitting on the front porch, washing the roots of dandelion.
You know the roots in the falltime love the rain.
And the rain comes singing, its footsteps touch the ground,
Each one bringing the sweetest sound.
Rain says, "Offer your prayers to the river.
Don't hold on so hard to the pain.
Don't you go thinking that you are a-sinking.
Don't worry, it's just me, Rain. Don't worry, it's just me, Rain."
At night as we lie sleeping, perennial roots lie a-dreaming
Of the leaves that they'll push up towards the sun.
And the rain is a drum, pounding out the dreambeat,
and in our sleep we sing the water song.
Will you carry our prayers to the river?
And wash all our sorrows away?
Will you help me remember that nothing lasts forever? Welcome to the rain.
Goodnight Rain.
